Every day, a stressful event will occur whether we are working at a job, studying at the school, or staying home taking care of the house. These stresses will activate sympathetic nervous system which reduces digestive function and impedes food absorption. Therefore even if we eat lots of nutritious foods, we still feel tired and not energized. Eventually we eat larger quantity of foods to gain more energy or high caloric foods of same quantity.
